So there you have it. It’s slightly depressing knowing that my finest quality is my sense of humour when I know damn well I’m not even that funny! I don’t know if anyone else noticed this but the percentage of each aspect of my personality totalled more than 100%... and I’m supposed to be the one with no brains!

I know the Brutally Honest Personality Test is a joke and should be taken that way... But... It's based on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) which is a very powerful tool in all situations of life. It's well worth reading more about it or if you really want to have some fun, use the MBTI Complete and gain an excellent insight into your personality (https://www.mbticomplete.com). Alternatively google MBTI and there are loads of free tests. However, the reliability and validity of those tests won't probably won't be as good as if you take the real thing.
I'm not being paid to say this but I do work with the MBTI every day. When used properly it helps to celebrate who you are and also to understand our differences with others, basically it's totally fab!
I used to work as a nursing assistant for a mental health trust and something I'd love to see in the future is clients gaining an understanding of who they are and embracing that. So often we're told about our imperfections but with the MBTI, there's no wrong type. Used in a team context, MBTI could also help many mental health teams to work together more effectively.

I guessed that the test must be based on a "proper" test as the initials for my personality type turned up a list of lots of "serious" websites when searched in google. (The link at the bottom where it said "If you want to learn more about your personality type in a slightly less negative way..." takes you to the list)
Although meant as a joke (as you said) I was amazed at how true the statements were! I shall definitely have a look at the website you recommend. Thanks for the link.
